Maureen Montagne from the Philippines, the frontrunner to win the crown, is now officially Miss Globe 2021! The 28-year-old Filipina American bested girls from various parts of the Globe! She earned the right to represent the Philippines in Miss Globe 2021 after winning the Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021 crown, after representing her hometown, Batangas.

Montagne is not a stranger to pageantry. Prior to becoming Miss Globe 2021, she was also Miss Eco International 1st Runner-up, Miss Eco Philippines, Miss World US 1st Runner-up, Miss USA Top 15 and Mutya ng Pilipinas 1st Runner-up.

Maureen Montagne was trained under the Kagandahang Flores camp. She is also the second Binibining Pilipinas 2021 queen to compete and win after Cindy Obenita’s win last week.

In her final question, Maureen was asked: Do you think beauty is a merit and how can we enrich it with other values?

To which she answered: “I think that true beauty comes from within. To be a Miss Globe is to be a beauty that inspires. What makes us beautiful is our smiles and it’s what we do for our community. It’s how we give back to others and it’s how we carry ourselves through life. I believe that everyone has beauty inside of them and I believe it is our duty to share it with the world and to give back and truly inspire others. Thank you!”

Finally, she can have a crown on her belt and the entire Philippines is crying with joy for this seasoned queen! Maureen, we love you and we can’t wait to welcome you and the 2nd Miss Globe crown back soon! The first Filipina winner was Ann Colis in 2015.
