Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will continue their activities for this year despite the COVID pandemic.
Shamcey Supsup, Miss Universe Philippines 2011 and the organization’s national director preludes to the announcement of their website: missuniverseph.com
In their website, the Miss Universe Philippines organization has set the Finals date on October 25th, the venue still unknown.
For the entire June, the girls will be doing the Learning Journey workshops and will focus on branding, influence, Q&A and entrepreneurship.
In July, they will be asked to do “REVALIDA” type as women in action provide outputs to the lessons they learned from the June workshops.
As part of the preparations for the big night on October 25, a weekly series will be released by the Miss Universe Philippines organization called Limited.
October 4th – Introduction to Limited Series
October 11th – Learning Journey
October 18th – Individual Interviews
October 23rd – Prelims
October 25th – Finals
The prelims can be viewed via exclusive online pay-per-view subscription. Here, one can register and watch all of the girls’ preliminary interviews, swimsuit and gown performance.
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization will practice social distancing during the prelims. Only five girls per designated waiting area and they can go home once they are done with the prelims. The catch, they wear masks and can only take it off once they are on stage.
Only the girls, the judges and the Miss Universe Philippines Organization will be at the Finals, slated to be held still in a big venue. Most of the materials will be pre-taped so that there will be little to no executions on stage.
In a separate post, Jonas Gaffud still wants Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados to crown the winner of this year’ pageant.
