Mak Tumang Eyed for Dressing Up Candidates for The Next Miss Universe

The best assets and features of our Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray was showcased through the pieces of Filipino designer, Mak Tumang.
Last week, the three iconic gowns of the country’s fourth Miss Universe were featured in a mall exhibit in Pampanga.

This includes the red Mayon Volcano inspired gown she wore during her crowning moment as Miss Universe 2018; the orange Ibong Adarna gown during the preliminaries and the beige evening gown inspired from the sun rays or Sinag which she wore during her victory in Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
And for the beauty of these masterpieces, the Pampanga based designer is starting to gain attention in the international scene which he told in the media that he has been receiving messages and calls from organization from other countries over design works.
“When I was in the Arena in Bangkok, there are other countries that insinuate and there are other candidates and other organizations from different countries are messaging me in my social media accounts such as Instagram.”
Meanwhile, the Filipinos are proud of the success of Mak and even though he was not expecting this kind of attention, he is thankful for the blessings he received.

Mak is now planning to create a gallery for Catriona’s gowns including his other creations.
