The Legacy of Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita "Winwyn" Marquez

“I believe that kindness is a universal language. If you treat people with tolerance, patience and love, you will understand each other.” says  Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez, Reina Hispanoamericana 2017
On November 4th last year, TERESITA SSEN “WINWYN” MARQUEZ made the Philippines proud and loud as she was crowned as the very first Filipina and Asian to win the Reina Hispanoamericana crown in Bolivia where she bested 26 other delegates where majority of the delegates comes from the Americas continent.
Teresita had a fruitful and meaningful year as Reina Hispanoamericana 2017. Aside from having some duties in Bolivia where the pageant’s headquarters is and being busy for being an actress here in the Philippines, she used her reign to spread and widen her advocacy which is education.

As a teacher, Teresita gave importance to education because all of us believe that this will be the most powerful weapon to change the world.

Teresita partnered with the Junior Chamber International Philippines for her Community Engagement Program Project and went in to rural areas of the Philippines such as Zamboanga, Cavite, Bulacan and many more areas to teach, have some story telling sessions and distribute some school supplies to children to use in school everyday.

And even as your reign ends, the whole Philippines is PROUD OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS and even though you’ll pass your crown later, you still have an invisible crown and a golden heart to those people who are in need of help especially to the children who wants to have some education so continue helping and we promise that we are here to help you and to support you.
Again, Muchas Gracias, our Reina Hispanoamericana 2017, Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez from Filipinas.
